So my name is Jenny & I live in Bournemouth with my Boyfriend Martin, we’ve been together since December 2010. We live in our little flat with our cats Mystie & Tipsy.
I was diagnosed with Anti-NMDA Receptor Encephalitis in August 2014, my whole life completely changed and I was forced to relearn everything. Fast forward to nearly January 2016 and I am slowly recovering from this dreadful illness.
I do regular mindfulness as a stress reliever and have seen another side to the world, life is so precious, you can’t take anything for granted.
I originally started this blog to help me with forgotten memories during my month of madness as I had kept texts and social media posts I had sent during that time leading up to the peak of my illness, so I wanted to piece them together. I am now using this blog as a diary but also to raise awareness for Encephalitis and to connect with other survivors and help them not feel alone or isolated in this dreadful illness.
I have made a New Years resolution to regularly update this blog so if anyone happens to come across it, they will always have up to date information and resources and can always contact me if needed 🙂
